Formatting Your List for Use with VoiceShot

A call list is a database of numbers. To use with VoiceShot, your call list must be one of the following two formats:

MS Excel®

  • End in the .xls or .xlsx extension. For example, list.xls or list.xlsx.
  • Contain a field named Number that contains the numbers that you want to call.
  • Phone numbers must include area codes.
  • Phone numbers must NOT start with 1.
  • The Number field can be a maximum of 50 characters wide.
  • If your .xls file has multiple sheets, all fields must be on a sheet.

ASCII Comma Delimited

  • End in the .txt or .csv extension. For example, list.txt or list.csv.
  • Contain a field named Number that contains the numbers that you want to call.
  • Phone numbers must include area codes.
  • Phone numbers must NOT start with 1.
  • The Number field can be a maximum of 50 characters wide.
